1)Â Â Mandatory community consultations triggered before any
    governance model changes.

2)Â Â Council decisions fully transparent.

3)Â Â If a councillor leaves for any reason in the first 3 years, the runner
    up shall be appointed first. If not available then an election should
    be held.

4)Â Â If a councillor leaves in the last year, the runner up shall be
    appointed first. If not available then the people will submit
    nominations for council to vote on. Minimum 50 signatures for
    nomination.
​
5)Â Â Efficacy and Institutionalization for any change depends on open
    communication with those affected. I will encourage regularly
    scheduled Town Halls for public input and discussion.Â

   Despite public outcry council continued to appoint new councillors instead of granting the people the opportunity to decide. None of the appointed councillors selected ran on any platform, in the previous election.Â

   This is simply gross overreach by council and demonstrates how out of touch they are with the people of our wonderful community.Â

   It is clear, from this concern alone, that current council does not listen to their constituency.Â
